How it all began

Kelly is a Board Certified and State Licensed Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with over 18 years of Division II collegiate sports medicine experience. She is eager to begin this new chapter in her career by being a resource providing injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Education and prevention of injury will be an important part of what Kelly hopes to accomplish in order to keep people active and healthy.

 

Over the course of her career, Kelly has had the opportunity to manage the healthcare needs of athletes at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL, at University High School in Morgantown, WV and Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO where she was the Head Athletic Trainer for 13 years working primarily with their football and basketball programs, but managing the total well-being of 400+ student-athletes.

Kelly brings with her a well-rounded skill set of therapeutic techniques including cupping, Graston Technique, dry needling, aquatic therapy, blood flow restriction therapy along with the gamut of traditional therapeutic modalities. A native of Maryville, MO, Kelly is excited to share her passion for sports medicine with the community and surrounding areas. She currently resides in Maryville with her husband Joe, and their children, Derek, Kori Austyn and Kendyl.
